And we're really happy to see she's still wearing her comics BURP earring - the Red Lightning (yeah, you can barely notice it, but you know, I have an eye for details like that :)))

And we totally discovered them by chance :) Just doing some shopping today and went to the press stand, where this was the first magazine I looked at and bought. Pretty crazy, I know :P

This little bug was never part of the group. She used to be the outsider, the one that always did things differently and had eccentric tastes.

So one day, despite the fact her parents predicted her a "golden future" in the cave digging business they owned, she left the house and became the Chef Bug.

She had always loved to think up strange menus and create peculiar food mixes, so this job suited her perfectly. Of course, everybody seemed to be in shock when
hearing the news, but then again - she'd always been pretty strange, so it was bound to happen, they thought :)

not today, tomorrow maybe.

Not a day passes by without the Migraine Pup complaining about her upper-storey pains.

As a matter of fact, she continuously suffers from headaches and is keeping pills by her bedside.

The doctors said there's nothing wrong, but she keeps on complaining. But we're seriously questioning her ability to say the truth. Plus, she always gets free days from work based on her "medical issues" :)

The trouble is we're getting a headache, too - just thinking about hers!!

Maybe she could get to play some part in "Le Malade Imaginaire" and leave us alone? :)

Snob Bob was born in the BURP family, that's 100% true. But we dunno how he got his ultra-snobbish behaviour :)

This little guy always insists on getting all things bio, eco & organic. He declines everything that doesn't wear this tag and is keen on telling everybody how up-to-date he is.

Well, Snob Bob, going organic is OK with us, but could you lose the attitude, please?

Andreea is really sweet to give the sheepie protection under that straw hat - but girl, there's no need for that...how do you think she turned green in the first place? :)

The Quarreling Bear always picks a fight with someone. That's her fave pastime and she totally feels bored if she doesn't flex her acid tongue muscles every day.

The victims? Well, everyone - from her best friend, to her "hubby", her family and, of course, the co-workers. Nobody gets a chance to escape :)

Still, people forgive Q.B. all the time - maybe deep inside they like these little disagreements: they practice their rhetoric and learn to give arguments for stuff they say or do.

So, basically, life would be a bore without the Quarreling Bear :)

This little PORN SHEEP brooch is going to one of the winners of the RFB Creative Party contest (held last week-end in Cismigiu Park).

As you can see, a lot of people tried their hand at making stuff out of recycled materials. And quite a few of them had really cool ideas!!

The poor little Reiterated Bear lives the same day every day. It's what she wanted, but doesn't want anymore :) Yeah, well...she should've thought about that BEFORE :)

So the Bear is stuck in time, waking up in the morning, going to school and then meeting the boy she loves. They go in the park, walk, talk and then sit on a bench. They kiss, the Bear feels the bliss. Then, she goes to sleep.

But in the morning, the same thing happens all over again.

It's been like this for a few years now - and the Reiterated Bear would like to get out of it.

It's a beautiful day - nothing to say about that - but nevertheless, could you live the same things over and over again?

Don't you think you could even get sick of perfection after some time?

Chaotic Mina is my friend. If you don't like that, that's OK. I love her anyways, no need for peer support :)

I'll tell you why, though, maybe you change your opinion and give her some credit.

First of all, Chaotic Mina is always late: for a date, for work, for meeting friends. She always finds something to do at the last minute, whether it's arranging her make-up or brushing her hair. Or changing her outfit...well, you get the picture :)

Secondly, this Chaotic Mina is always in some sort of trouble. She's always complaining about something, she's always really busy and so on.

Plus she never gets anything right, although she's always got the best intentions. Well, OK, so now you probably understand why I love her so much. I feel like she's so hare-brained and messy she really needs someone responsible like me to take care of her :))

Pointy Feet is a very fashionable rabbit girl. So fashionable she puts style before anything else in her life.

She alters her looks, thoughts and opinions with each fashion season - people think that's a hard thing to do, but they also adore and worship her for being so up-to-date :)

Here's an example of how crazy she is, if you don't believe us. From a very young age (she was about 4 y.o.), Pointy learned that heels make a girl look sexy. So she started wearing them - and of course she achieved the look she was going after. Plus she always wore shoes that were at least 2 sizes smaller, 'cause she had this obsession about her feet being too big.

But a few years later, Pointy discovered all her shoes were beautiful, but really mean to her feet. Her little paws became pointy and strange-looking because of all that torture.

But she still feels it's worth wearing heels :)

That's what we call a rabbit with a strong point of view! :P What about you?

We heard a new handmade shop opened up in Bucharest and thought you might wanna know :)

Funny Bijoux is on 180 Viitorului Street and welcomes you with a bubbly atmosphere, as you can see.

The BURP kiddiez couldn't get there yet, but we're sure you'll find some nice things if you like handmade stuff.

When we become "adults", we sometimes get caught in a lot of stuff and we always feel busy and stressed out.

This post is for all of us who forgot to appreciate simple things that don't cost anything and can really help one's state of mind in just a few seconds.

I took a pic of this chalk drawing made by a little girl who only knows she has to eat, sleep, play, meet her friends and learn as much as she can. She's curious, always in a good mood, always ready to play ball or eat a cake. Do you ever snap when seeing somebody so carefree and happy? :)

Well, kids really know what's important in life. Good thing they're always eager to remind us, too :)

She worked in a library. Had the same job for 20 years and never thought of changing anything.

Got up at 7 o'clock in the morning, went to work and arranged the books, cleaned the wooden desks and waited for the 5 or 6 readers that were loyal to the place.

Same routine, day after day.

Only at night she had these dreams of unicorns and other fantastic creatures. They all mixed up in her head creating strange stories and wonderful adventures. But she forgot everything in the morning, when real life started all over again.

too many options, too hard to decide.

Miz No-Nose decided to go see her plastic surgeon for a few quick "adjustments".

But when they started talking and he brought her thousands of catalogues from which she could choose the perfect nose, she started feeling dizzy.

There were so many choices! If she got one, she would regret not getting the other. If - for example - she likes nose no. 56 now, but tomorrow realizes that nose no. 90 would've fit her better?

Hmmm...that was really hard. Too hard. So she left the doctor's catalogues on the table and went home.

"Better no nose at all, than one I won't be 100% happy with", she said.

Well, choosing is a bit hard sometimes for all of us. While writing down the pros and cons of stuff, we might procrastinate till forever.

It's not a secret this relationship is working well. But do you know their secret?

The Bear learned a long time ago that when in doubt, use a bow :) So he puts a bow on everything now: flowers for the Lady Rabbit, chocolates, dresses, wine bottles, jewelry...and even hugs.

Everything this little guy gives feels like a present - so how could he ever go wrong? :)

It's summer and it's so hot outside that nothing seems right unless it's spelled "vacation" :)

But some of us spend these days at work, in an office or (if they're lucky) in a less formal place, but still using the laptop, working on a tight schedule and only dreaming of getting away.

But you know what? I've learned that sometimes you can say "no" to things you don't want to do and focus on something that makes you happy. I, for one, loved to draw stuff in my notebook during boring meetings. Doodling is just one way of escapism, you can find your own :)

No, we're not saying people shouldn't work or act responsible - we're just thinking that they should make work fun.

Is that such a bad thing to do? :D

I actually made a thingie that resembled a clutch, but then I decided I wasn't happy with the result and went on to do something else. Well, yeah, that's me, a lot of patience, I know :))

It's fun to see Nico and I @ work - that's our studio, where tons of stuff get piled up and surround us & the kiddiez - for more inspiration, as we say, but we do not actually have the heart to throw anything away :)

This little Saber Penguin is part of the great auk species. Only that scientists say this kind of penguin is extinct since the 19th century.

He doesn't know what to believe anymore, and we really dunno what to do in order to help the poor baby.

Kinda tough. What do you do when everybody says you don't really exist? :)

These Undecided Pets make a great team, despite how it looks :)

They work together as police pets and they have a lot of detective work on their paws, as you can imagine! Still, they don't forget to play - and their favorite game is the "Good Cop/Bad Cop". Well, duh! :P

Anyway, you can easily imagine which is which :)

But the funny thing is they really love to mess with the criminal minds. Would you ever have thought about that as being "fun"? :))

the grass is always greener right where you are.

It seems we've been spending a lot of time out in the "nature" lately :))

After the holiday trips, we got back to Bucharest and received an invitation from RFB to the Creative Party.

So around noon today I took some leather & fabric scraps, some scissors and other useful thingies and went to meet R.R., Adina Necula, Adela, Flo and a few other lovely people and together we worked a bit in the sun :)

Yep, it was really hot outside, but we had fun - and here's how things happened:

The first thing I saw when I arrived was Adela, looking cute and wearing an Undecided Pet belt. Of course I had to take a picture :)

Roxana and Adina trying to show the world the RFB banner...it took some work...

...but turned out OK in the end :)

Meanwhile, we took the liberty to decorate the "place" with pictures of newspaper-fashion, which was in fact the theme of this happening.

Well, the creative minds in there played a little with newspapers, fabrics, beads, feathers and everything else they could find.

Below you can see a cool idea for a bridal look - this girl looks like she agrees :)

I worked a little, too. Here's what I made: a Harlequin brooch...

...and a Plastic Surgery necklace :)

The lovely "model" had the perfect dress for an oversized necklace, so it was fun to see it being actually worn :)

And this is how the workplace looked, but hey, how can you have fun without leaving a little mess behind? :) Right? :D

So she's taking her LOL Frog out for a walk and he seems pretty happy about that.

Who knew 5 year olds are interested in fashion as well, besides their day-to-day activities like playing and getting bruised up? :)

Well, kiddiez, we totally missed you - and we totally missed telling stories... Although we got to tell a few stories in this vacation, too :)

Anyhow, looks like the blog has a mind of its own and goes on well even without us being here...so, are we still needed? :)

As you can see, the BURP kiddiez had a lil' fun of their own, so they can get back to work now :)) Muhahaha!!!!
