Sometimes it feels good to get a little out of the same ol' routine and do something you'd never thought you'd do. Like...picking apricots, for example :)
That's why this week-end we took the BURP kiddiez out of the city early in the morning. But then it started raining, and it didn't look like a bright day ahead...
So some of us were getting bored -- and that would explain taking pictures all the time :)) 
See? Raining!!!! Blaaah... 
But simply out of the blue, the skies cleared and the sun started to shine even stronger than before. Well, cool, we thought :P 
And so we arrived. A little story-like house, with a porch, a big yard and a beautiful terrace on the same level with the trees. That's gotta be good! 
And we were happy to see the place had its share of pets... 
... even though we instantly called the cat Evil Eyes :) Just look at her, we're not kidding :P 
We wandered in the yard and saw a lonely swing in a corner, found 8 puppies calling for their mom... 
...and admired the flowers. Chill-out time, dreaming in the sun... 
But then again, it was time to "work" a bit, if we wanted to eat something :) An empty basket was waiting for us... 
... and it got full in no time :) 
So while some were baking apricot & sour cherry pies, the photos kept coming :) 
These entangled trees looked pretty cool... 
... and these windows seemed to have been taken out of a ginger bread story. Just look at the heart details :) 
Oh, and after a delicious lunch, the vainest of us had to check on their looks :) So the Layered Girl found this truly vintage mirror and admired herself late into the evening.

The last details were OK, so Doc received a big hug and we went on to eat something. You know, all that looking at somebody working can really make you need some fuel :)

We also took a few BURP kiddiez with us, to "culturalize" the gang :) 
And we couldn't wish for more than seeing old friends and lovely NOPER-style drawings :) 
Oh, in fact, there was a little bit more :) The night went on with a stop over at Chocolat, for - well, chocolate cakes :D
