The place was green & nice - and bikes were sprinkled here & there, ready to be bought or tested.

It was like a picnic day in the forest...and actually we also had some "wild" visitors :)

This little fluffy tail came really close at one point, when some girl threw out peanuts. He just grabbed them and went on his way :) No "thank you", no nothing. Well, that's a city squirrel, less manners than you'd expect :P

After the wildlife adventure, we decided it was time to strut the BURP kiddiez.
But hey, we are really not that tech-savvy - and it showed!! So a friendly guy came over and offered his help, which we gladly accepted. And it was a wise thing to do, as the stander came up in no-time. Thanks again! :)

Everything ready - so we took out the belts (which were so many, we had no idea :))).

And we guess these little sociable kiddiez are pretty lovable :)

We also brought some tees in...or "out", to be more exact :)

But the nicest thing is that we found a lot of friends in there...

...and they know how to make funny faces :)

...and make fun of...errr, statues :)

...and make funny faces AGAIN :)

We like it when everybody's happy :)

So basically, all we did was talk, drink, eat ice-cream and talk some more.
It felt more like a get-together with friends. And some other people, too :)

You know we have some hens in the BURP headquarters, and from time to time they hatch eggs, from which the kiddiez appear :)

The Lost Rabbit doesn't know who he belongs to anymore. One morning, he woke up with a strange feeling and tried to remember where he was, but he couldn't.

So he went out on the streets and tried to find familiar places. Or faces. No luck with that either.
That's when we met him and promised to held find his identity back.

Anyone reported a missing rabbit? :)

But we really don't have so many pics with lovely Miruna, who is - by the way - the owner of countless BURP kiddiez. (we heard a rumor that they didn't have enough space in her jewelry box, so her mom decided to buy her a big treasure trunk :))

So we are really happy she sent us this photo of her & the lil' Crocdog. Isn't she sweet?

Some people love their bears - and we love to draw them :)

So that's why we played a little with this special order and that's the result - a bear wallet.

Does the owner want this back? Because we'd like to keep it :)

You know we're not the judgmental type (say what? :P), but the Brainwashed Bunny totally asked for it.

So you see, it's for her own sake :)

Look at her. A pretty young bunneeh girl who thinks she HAS TO fit in because everybody tells her so. And by "fitting in" they mean getting a job, starting a family and raising some bunny babies, of course!

Needless to say she used to be quite the independent type, with a mind of her own (yeah, that's pretty rare in the bunny world, we tell ya':))

But she heard this speech so many times she can actually say it by heart - and eventually admitted she changed her way of thinking. She's now looking for a bunny boy and getting ready to pop babies. Is that sane? What do you guys think?

The BURP kiddiez decided they needed to see some of their old friends and urged us to take them out tonight.

Which we actually did.

We had fun with Marius & Andreea x 2 :) As you can see, both the Vicious Girl & the Sexy Sheep brooches were the stars of the evening - plus we totally loved the fact that Andreea still wears the ballet pumps we pimped last year.

You see, Mina is a solar creature and she loves those mornings when she gets up early because the sun shines on her face.

And if she's got her true love beside her, that's even better. Flickering her eyes, she looks to her right and there it is...her lovely bike, smiling right back at her :P

Our lovely friend Miruna was so sweet to take the kiddiez to the seaside this week-end (remember the Stripping Hippo almost had a panic attack 'cause we forgot about his tanning routine? :)).

She also sent us some pictures and a very cute email, so full of good vibes that it instantly made us feel great!!

That's the thing: we have a few friends that always make us smile with just a text message or an email or a phone call. And no, they're not people we've known since forever - they're friends we made because of BURP, and that's even a bigger joy.

BIKE-IN is the event we were talking about.

It will take place in Herastrau Park, on the 29th and 30th of August. Yep, we'll be spending the last summer days outside, eating yummy foods, riding bikes and, of course, bringing out the kiddiez :)

We are now on NOT JUST A LABEL - a cool meeting place for designers and all kinds of fashion people.

It's a great place to find out all things related to fashion, to spot upcoming designers and showcase your work.

And we're happy we're part of it :)

Amazing!! For the first time in so long, the week-end came over us without any notice.

You know, one usually starts feeling better on Friday morning, then recovers all the lost energy (and some!! :) ) by noon and gets in the party mood when the evening comes, so it's pretty impossible to miss that moment when the week-end comes.

Yet, the BURPies did that today. We totally blame it on the busy hectic schedule, but the Stripping Hippo doesn't want any excuses. You see, he got all dolled up and ready to go sunbathing & swimming this week-end. And we forgot about it...

Aren't we like the worst parents in the whole wide world? :D

Today Andreea made us smile early in the morning. OK, it's not THAT early, but still :)

She's wearing this Sleepy Cat brooch she got from the Dalles Christmas fair last year. Wow, that seems so loong ago :)

Now we're thinking about the next edition, where we'll make some more brooches and hopefully a few of them will catch Andreea's eye :)

Because we simply love it when our friends wear BURP. Yeah, we love to show off :P

Because we were so cat-busy lately, I remembered about this collage we made a looong time ago (2 years, maybe??), when we were just starting to play in our BURP way :)

It portrays Kash Kitty, a lovely furry princess that needs lots of jewelry & money to stay happy. I almost forgot about it, but it's really perfect to describe the situation.

You know cats, they need stuff :) Material stuff. Bling-bling. Well, that's something some of us just found out :)

Ioana is our friend and mag-spy :) She always knows when BURP kiddiez appear in a magazine and always lets us know. And we say "thank you" once again :)

So this time it's Mina Ballerina in BOLERO mag (the September issue). The little brat sits pretty on that page, saying ballerinas are IN and everybody needs to know that :)

Monica & Miruna are two busy gals these days. They're getting ready for a cool event that will take place at the end of this month.

And we're getting ready, too ;) See? We've already made the kiddiez go on their bikes and work hard :)

This is just to tease you, the info about this event will come later this week :)

They didn't call him "Late Owl" for nothing. This little guy got his shameful nickname because he was always late for meetings (be they business or pleasure :)).

But deep inside, he knew he did everything NOT to be late. But never made it in time. Oh, well...

So he decided that from now on he'll be going to the meeting place one day in advance, sleep on a neighboring tree that night and...be fresh and NOT LATE for the get-together. Smart strategy, right? (I should probably do this, too. humm, except for the tree-sleeping part :) )

There are always a lot of things to do around the house - but you know the kiddiez, LAZY as ever :)

They wouldn't touch a thing, wash a dish, clean up, fix a light bulb or make their beds.

Good thing we have the Screwdriver Girl around - she loves chores as much as some of us love chocolate or shoes. You know, passionately :)

So if they keep on saying boys are the handy ones, we'll say that's not true at all! This girl can do everything better :)

The Druid Girl has just discovered her magic powers.

Last night she was mixing some plants in the kitchen and obtained a strange looking drink that actually tasted really good. Out of curiosity, everybody at work had a sip of that magic potion and instantly started dancing and talking in verses :)

If you think this girl had mistletoe growing all over in her garden, it's hard to say why she didn't become a druid sooner. But hey, better late then never, right? :)

Meet the newest additions to the BURP headquarters :)

A few days ago, Nico found these 2 kittens on the street and decided to take them home. They go by the names of Chinese and Muffin (we'll let you guess which is which :P) and they already have 4 parents, a friendly vet and a play pal - a Husky pup.

Yeah, the BURP kiddiez are a little jealous now, but they'll get over it :)

Diana is a very cute girl who loves comics and also writes here. Great, right?
Right. But then again - we've got something better. Looks like she had a great vacation in Paris this summer - and she also wore the BAT brooch. Pictures above prove it :)

She's got that brooch for a while now, time to make her a new one :D
