...the Smoking Lamb
Yesterday we had some kind of an Easter auction at work - anyone could make up an Easter egg and enter the bidding scheme :)
But it wasn't all just for fun - the money is going for charity, which is a preety cool thing to do.
Above you can see the BURP version of an egg - yes, there's an egg inside, only a candle one. (I'm preety clumsy, so the "real thing" would have been broken by now in my hands :P)
I hope you like it. And have a great Easter vacation everyone!

Why is the lamb smoking?

Inquiring minds (http://cakewrecks.blogspot.com/2009/04/lamb-entations.html) desperately need to know.

@ Galadriel & Rebecca F.: we noticed there's a lot of mystery around the case of the smoking lamb :) Our BURP lamb has no connection with the cake ones, but he likes to defy conventions and gladly makes fun of his duties as an Easter lamb :)

That's why he's smoking - he's just like all the other BURP characters: a cute one with a few problems :P

But here's the thing....

I loved your other characters and poked around your website a little. What I don't understand is why you made the lamb smoking. Even if he is a convention defy-er, why smoking? It is just so puzzling to me that anyone would have chosen smoking for a lamb in any context.

Very interesting....

Thanks for humouring us!!

Aw, darn, I thought we'd found someone who knew the answer.

Thanks for getting back to us, anyway :)

@Rebecca: thanks, we're glad you like them :)

We thought more about it and maybe this will solve the coincidence: when we made this lamb we were working in connection with a cigarette brand, so we thought we'd make something relevant to this situation, hence the cigarette. Plus, it was Easter and the lamb was just on our minds (it could have been a rabbit or a chick or anything else, really).

We chose cigarettes and the lamb as symbols for distinct things, we had no idea they'd create a "symbol" mixed together, as well :)

@Galadriel: sorry we couldn't solve the mystery :) it's really a coincidence, we think.

and thank you for sharing - and visiting us, as well :)
