wishing you...

...a Happy New Year!
The BURP kiddies partied a bit too much these days and we found them lying all around the house - on the bed, on the couch, on the floor and even on the table. Drunk, over-stuffed with food and candies and so on.
Only one of them was fully awake and arranging his bow tie in the mirror: Purple Guy. He was so happy and looked at us with smiling eyes: "Oh, it's New Year's Eve! It's New Year's Eve! I'm soooooooo excited!!!!" - and he got back to arranging his tie.
And then we remembered he used to have some memory troubles. That's why we told him it was already the 5th of January and that he'd missed the New Year Celebration. And when he saw his friends on the floor, it all made sense. So Purple Guy started crying. But a minute later, he forgot all about it and started admiring himself in the mirror. His bow tie, his special occassion green lenses...well, he was happy!
Now that's over, we hope you had a nice celebration and that you didn't forget about those resolutions :)
As you might know, January is a very special month for us - it signifies the birth of our BURP project - so it should be a non-stop party!

well, dear burp committee, i'm sure that your handmade managerie will grow this year to come like the people of abraham and the avalanche of cat characters will flow over our heads like haribo rain so my possible wishes for you are futile :) you know, when i first heard of animal planet channel i thought of some tv station made for animals so they could have something to watch too on the telly :) years passed, but your burprising stories brought this memory back, keep it this way :D

Oh, Mr. Julien, you don't even know how much we've missed you! :) But the BURP kiddies are totally like uber-happy now that you've shown us you still care, and we'd like to thank you very much for all your good thoughts.
Tonight we're throwing a party in your honour and we'll prepare a sacrifice for this special occassion. You know we still owe you that BURPmark...the tape worm dog? :) We'll have to set up an appointment in order to deliver the gift. That being said, a great year to you too and don't forget to nevergrowup!

why, that's delightful! a party as a toast in my honour? omg, that was probably the most boring party ever at the burp lounge, i bet all the lovely critters were talking about weather and sarkozy's affaires endlessly :) but, at least the sacrifice of Domnule Castor (you know, from THAT advert) was an exciting moment, i guess ;)) btw, clown mouse whispered me the previous
meant-to-be-funny lines (he's in a really good shape and sends you his best regards, now being at his third marriage with a cat).

Well, no, actually it was a super party. All the BURP kiddies are dead drunk by now, so they really had a great time :)
Hmmm...that Clown Mouse seems to be some kind of a womanizer...or is it the third time he's marrying the SAME cat??????? Well, we really don't understand this behavior, nor do we approve of it...but he's a big mouse now, he should know what he's doing!

no, no, let's stop this dysfunctional prigoana-like gossipy gossip here :) first of all, yeah, clown mousie is a true felinizer (womanizer in this context) and, on the second paw, he's not marrying the same cat; if you remember, it was a crew of hippie cats (penny, catilda) who, now, has a third member, anason. we are talking about hippie spirit, so mousie has married all cats, one after another, without harm feelings because everyone agreed. so, sure, he really knows what he's doing :)

Oh, that's exactly what we feared most! When Clown Mouse was born, his godmother predicted him an unstable romantic life. But we thought that his relationship with Catilda will help him stay out of trouble...she seemed like such a sweet cat. But in fact, this pushed him in the hungry claws of his awaiting destiny. Tztztz...if we only knew...
