The Silly Fly is about to grow up. She does this each April 1st.

And we cannot accept it in this nevergrowup world! Hasn't anyone told her being a kid is way better than being an adult?

You get to buzz all day, play and - of course - fight with your pals ...and then quickly make up :)

Plus there's the joy of running on the streets without thinking of what people might say, kissing whoever you want to, not feeling sorry and eating as much chocolate as you'd like.

But wait, Silly Fly already does that :) Even if she's growing older calendar-wise. So yeah, maybe we can still keep her @ BURP: she'll be our kidult. :)

And that's OK. Right?

…because of a dress code

Long time ago, Miss BowTie Rabbit was invited to an uber-classy event with a mandatory “sweet” dress code.

But of course she did not have the appropriate attire at that time – and was sent home. She couldn’t even enter the glam club, it was horrible!!

So she went home and created her sweet pink bowtie – which she never took off since. She wants to be prepared, no matter what. You get the idea :)

Anyho, today she was saved by a very nice girl who promised she’ll keep Miss BowTie Rabbit in a perfect shape forever. She will look great every day – and get invitations to all fancy parties from now on.

See? Problem solved :)

We've got bad news. Sorry, but that's the truth. If you thought Mina Ballerina was some kind of an angel, dressed in her pink tutu and swirling around, you were wrong. Just like us - and like all the other people who shared these hopes.

She's...the devil in disguise? :) Oh, yeah...pretty close :D

We told you before she wanted to dye her hair - and look what happened to her...she chose RED!!!! She says it's sexy, fiery and hot...We say we should get her checked.

So dear friends, THIS is what happens if you mix booze and hair dye! So don't try this at home...but if they have free champagne @ the beauty parlor, you'd be crazy to say no!!!! :)

Like shopping for nice things, then a good dinner cooked by our chef friends and maybe even a birthday cake - no special reason, just because :)

Quite literally, in this case! :)

Soo-Shi is obviously crazy about rice, fish - and those two combined. So yeah, she's the biggest sushi eater we've ever seen!

Of course all that raw fish got her a few intoxications until now, but she wakes up from each one and starts eating sushi again. Gotta admire her determination :)

Today, Soo-Shi recommends seaweeds & salmon. OK, maybe we'll try some of that, too... :)

The Shy Cat Squad is here to ask for a job. The economy is going bad, as you know - and cats are the ones to feel it first!!

They were all fired from their jobs as poster cats - and now have to find something else to do.

Do you know that feeling you have when you think about sleeping?

It's always postponed 'till later, tomorrow, in the week-end and so on. But then it gets postponed to next week, after this, after that... :)

Just take a look at her: Eyeshadow Rabbit promised to go bed before 1 AM. And she's actually doing it!! Wow, right? :))

Yep, it's Saturday evening and it's gonna be pretty romantic to have a candle-lit dinner. So do the right thing and celebrate the Earth Hour (8.30 - 9.30 PM).

The BURP kiddiez already started to do so - you can see Mr. Eco Rabbit trying to sweet talk the Rabbithood Girl. And look - she might be starting to fall for him, as he is so cute and eco-firendly :)

Others are nostalgic and love the vintage feel of it...

And quite a few are plain intellectual :)

But they all like fashion! And we're glad that they leave TV & computer games alone ( at least for a few hours) :)

The Undecided Pets (Cat vs. Rabbit) had to choose what they want to eat for lunch. Fish and chips or cheese in bread crumbs with a big salad?

Tough decision when you're at the same time a cat and a rabbit!!

And they're not even thinking of dessert yet!

In the meantime, bon appetit to all those of us who CAN make a decision :)

Right about now, Mina Ballerina had the craziest thought: she decided she's always wanted to dye her hair, but hasn't really done anything about it. Until now :)

While looking at herself in a picture, she knew it was time to take some action.

So the big dilemma is: should it be blonde or red? No, black hair is not an option - that's gonna be her color later on, when she'll switch to her "serious, career-oriented & maybe a mom-to-be" type of personality.

Until then, she wants to experiment stuff. And she's independent. And cool. So that's that! It won't be red, nor will it be yellow. But what about BOTH? :)

postcards from the seaside

Our friend Ancuta had a biiig surprise waiting for us today! We were just talking about the seaside, when she sent us these pictures with her BURP kiddiez on the beach.

Ancuta is our fave photographer right now, even more so after she said the photo shooting was pretty dangerous, because a gang of dogs attacked the kiddiez. They were probably looking for the Harlequin Cat...she glows in the sun & her skin becomes yummier :)

Anyway, we hear that summer is already in place @ the seaside - with good weather, sun & sand - and you've got the pix to prove it.

Well, that being said, we'll be right here waiting...and dreaming :)

The Cat with Make-up really needed a break from all that powder, mascara & lipgloss!

She used to jump in front of the mirror immediately after waking up - but those times are so over...

These days, the Cat with Make-up really found out that she can improve her personality - and it feels so good, she can wear a bare face :)

Knify is a shy little girl. She can hardly utter "hello" when she meets someone, that's how bad it is. Her self esteem is lower than a ball on the floor, but it's really hard to understand why.

Knify is really sharp, only that nobody ever encouraged her.
So we thought we'd take her in the BURP headquarters and teach her a few things.

We are proud to say she can also say "good-bye" without getting the red cheek effect - and all that after only one day :)
So...do you call this progress or what? :D

The BURP kiddiez went to za MALL!!!! :)

We found them today @ DaDa in Plaza Romania, where they were chatting up with the girls and trying on stuff in the shop.

Of course we asked them to stay put for a while, until we got some pictures. And they did! Here you can see them strike the pose for Andreea, who kept them in the limelight.
